Our popular Friday cricket coaching sessions for primary school age children will run this year, commencing on Friday May 3rd and running until Mid August. Registration (£20) is open now and it’s just £3 a session after that.

Registration starts at 6:30pm and coaching starts at 6:45pm until around 7:45pm.

As usual the club bar will be open, catering by the girls running the “Ecuador Camp Kitchen” and sweets and ice cream are available from the tuck shop afterwards. Come and enjoy a sociable evening watching the sun go down on the expanded decking area at the front of the pavilion – the best beer garden in Glossop!

In addition to the regular coaching teams there will be assistance each week from various members of the junior and senior squads alongside our junior coach Cameron Ball.

The under 9s also train on a Friday night on the far side of the ground.

We’re also pleased to confirm that the outdoor practice nets have been completely overhauled ths winter.

We are grateful for the grant of £7000 from SportEngland towards the cost of this refurbishment. These nets are for the use of Glossop CC members only. Please do not use them for other ball sports and do not wear spikes on the new surfaces.
